Integrity Policy

 1. INTRODUCTION

Data privacy is very important to Us and We want to be open and transparent with Our handling of Your personal data. The Integrity Policy below explains how Not so Ordinary processes information about Your personal information and how it is handled.

The purpose of processing and keeping personal data is to ensure We provide You the best service possible and to provide and customise meaningful information to You.

All processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with applicable legislation. This means that Not so Ordinary implements and maintains appropriate technical, security and organisational measures to protect Your personal data against unauthorised or illegal processing, use and against accidental loss, destruction, damage, theft or disclosure. You are always welcome to contact Us if You have any questions regarding how Not so ordinary processes your data.

As long as you have an active account, meaning you have actively used Our Service (or logged into Your account), we will store the information You have approved and shared with Us. If You have been inactive for 2 years, We will terminate Your account.
If You have only been using Our Service via Guest check out, Your information will be stored for up to 3 months after We have fulfilled our obligation towards You, and presuming You have no obligation towards Us. If You have an obligation to fulfil, Ex. Outstanding payments, late fees, Your information will be stored until fulfilled. 

 2. SECURITY MEASURES  

The security surrounding Your shared personal information collected via (but not limited to) the platform is important to Us. We use reasonable security measures to ensure We protect the information gathered from loss, unauthorized access, misuse, and destruction through use of firewalls and encryption.

While we work hard to ensure the integrity and security of our platform, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we can therefore not guarantee that we can prevent “hackers” or other unauthorized persons from illegally accessing or obtaining information.

We do not keep personal data longer than necessary or required by law. Please read section‘1. Introduction’ and section ‘10. How long does Not so Ordinary keep personal data’.

 

We restrict the access of personal data to employees, contractors and agents who need the information in order to operate, fulfill service agreements, and improve and develop Our Service. The individuals with access to personal information are bound by confidentiality obligations. Measures such as termination and criminal prosecution will be taken these obligations are not followed.

If a security system breach occurs, We will notify You via our website, www.notsoordinary.se, and may also use Our newsletter to inform You what is happening. 

 Your membership log in

Make sure You use a strong password for Your membership log in. If You think Your account has been used by an unauthorized person, 1. If possible, change Your password immediately 2. Contact Us.

 3. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR INFORMATION?

Not so ordinary AB, with organisation number 559305-8067 is the data controller for the personal data that You collect from Us and is responsible for Your data in accordance with applicable data protection regulations. We follow GDPR regulations.

4. PROMOTIONS AND OFFERS

Not so Ordinary may from time to time offer promotions which may have more favourable terms than those set out in these Terms, e.g. concerning payment or extended right of withdrawal. These more favourable terms apply as long as the promotion is active and for the specific goods specified by Not so Ordinary in connection with the promotion. Orders placed before a promotion starts, are not included in the time limited “new terms”. Only orders placed within the promotion period will be applicable to the time limited “new terms”. Not so ordinary reserves the right to withdraw any promotion at any time. Upon termination or revocation of a promotion, these Terms are the baseline and apply without change. Offers and deals on specific items and/or price range/ categories on the website are valid for a limited time, or as long as our stock lasts.

5. SURVEYS AND CONTESTS

We may from time to time give you the option to partake in surveys and contests. By choosing to participate, You will be asked to provide certain information. The information is used to notify winners, monitor the website traffic. We will also send participants newsletters.

By participating you automatically approve to the terms and conditions related to the survey/contest and if required, that Your personal data is shared with a sponsor(s) of that specific contest or survey.

 6. TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP

You can terminate Your membership at any time when You do not have an active order or any other form of contact or unresolved issues with Customer Service.

Termination of Your account will be approved once Your active order has been returned and has been reviewed by Us.

 

7. LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES

Not so Ordinary may link to other websites that are not controlled or owned by Not so Ordinary. Please note that the information collected and agreed upon within these Terms and through Our Service, are only applicable on Not so Ordinary's website. We are not responsible for other sites beyond Notsoordinary.se and We recommend You to exercise caution and read the personal data regulations for each website to ensure privacy policies are used.

Only Not so Ordinary will have access to the personal information You provide on Our platform, We do not share any personal data with third party, unless stated. (Please see section “4. Surveys and Contests” for more information).  

 

 8. HOW DOES ORDINARY COLLECT PERSONAL DATA?

Not so Ordinary collects Your personal information which You provide when You visit/sign up or get in touch via our website, social media or e-mail.  We also collect information through Cookies, which You have the option to agree to share with Us. (Read more about cookies below at section 12.)

The personal data that We collect from You is stored within a country of the European Union or the European Economic Areas (“EU/EEA”). 

 

 9. WHICH DATA IS STORED?

Not so Ordinary stores personal information such as first name, last name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number, date of birth, order history and other information that is necessary to fulfil Not so Ordinary's obligations towards You.

Your personal data may be processed by Not so Ordinary for the purpose of but not limited to:

  • Communicate with You
  • Perform our duties and provide services
  • Be able to provide a high level of service to You by, for example, being efficient in Our deliveries
  • Send relevant information and offers about Not so Ordinary´s services and products
  • Manage and administer Your application
  • Deliver relevant website content and online ads

    10. WHEN DO NOT SO ORDINARY HAVE THE RIGHT TO PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Not so Ordinary has the right to process Your personal data when it is necessary to fulfil an obligation towards You, if You have given Your consent to the processing or if the processing is necessary for the legitimate interests that Not so Ordinary seeks or by a third party. Not so Ordinary may also need to process Your personal data if processing is necessary to fulfil a legal obligation to which Not so Ordinary is subject.

We reserve the right to also use Your personal information provided in the instance that You have obligations to fulfil towards Us. Ex. Payment of late fees, payment of garment damage etc.

 

 11. HOW LONG DOES NOT SO ORDINARY KEEP PERSONAL DATA?

 Not so Ordinary will not retain information beyond what is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or required by applicable laws and regulations. 

As long as You have an active account, meaning You have actively used Our Service (even just to log into Your account), We will store the information You have approved and shared with Us. If You have been inactive for 2 years, We will terminate Your account.

 

 12. YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to request a copy of the personal data processed by Not so Ordinary at any time. Your request must be in writing and contain Your first and last name and Your full personal number.  This is a reasonable measure to verify the identity of You as the right person to gain access.

 

If Your personal information is incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant, You can request a correction. In certain circumstances, You have the right to restrict or object to the processing of Your personal data, for example when Your data is processed for direct marketing. You can also request that Your personal data be deleted if the personal data that Not so Ordinary has collected is no longer needed for any purpose and Not so Ordinary is not obliged by law to retain them. Through Your personal log in, You may delete and/or change any information You like, without contacting Us. Please note that You are obliged to provide all information necessary for Us to fulfil Your order, in the instance that You have erased vital personal information from Your profile. 

 

You have the right to withdraw Your consent at any time when You do not have an order placed, invoice to pay, an open customer service case, or any other instances when an action has been taken and We as well as You, have an obligation to fulfil towards one another. We reserve the right to deny Your request of withdrawal until all obligations has been fulfilled. Your withdrawal of Your consent does not affect the legitimacy of the processing of Your personal data before Your withdrawal was made.

 13. COOKIES

 When visiting Not so Ordinary’s website, We may store or retrieve information in Your browser, usually in the form of cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on Your computer for record-keeping or tracking purposes. The cookies that we use may include session cookies, persistent cookies, or more advanced technology such as HTML5 or Media Stamp.

Session cookies start when You open a website and ends when You close Your browser. A Persistent cookie remains on Your hard drive for an extended period of time. You can remove persistent cookies by following Your computers help menu instructions.  

By using clear gifs in Our HTML-based emails, We know which emails recipients open. This allows Us to evaluate the effectiveness of Our communication towards You. You may choose to opt-out of Our newsletter services by following the link at the bottom of Our newsletters.

The information collected may be about You, Your preferences or Your device and is used to make the website work as You expect it to. Not so Ordinary uses cookies for statistical purposes to benefit Your and other’s future use of Our Platform. Because We are required to respect Your privacy, You may choose not to allow most types of cookies. However, blocking certain types of cookies may affect Your experience of the site and the services We offer.

 

 14. CHANGES IN OUR INTEGRITY POLICY

We reserve the right to update and change our Integrity Policy at any time. The most updated version will always be found on Our website with “Effective date” stated. Changes may be written due to, but not limited to, system changes, updates, new technologies etc.

We will take reasonable measures to ensure You have had an opportunity to agree to the new Integrity Policy, but if You use Our Services after an update has been made, You are considered to have automatically agreed to the new Integrity policy.
